Fojo do Lobo

The Fojo do Lobo is a trap for wolves. It was created out of the need to prevent these animals from destroying herds and threatening the safety of the local population. Its Y-shaped structure guided the wolves toward a pit concealed with vegetation. Nowadays, due to the preservation of this endangered species, such practices are no longer allowed.
