A small porch-covered galilee was torn from the temple's façade. The interior is lined with 16th-century tiles. It houses a 16th-century altarpiece and a stone image of the patron saint.

Igreja de Santa Maria Maior de Tarouquela

A Romanesque temple founded by the Canons Regular of Saint Augustine, it is the only example of a monastic church in the present-day municipality of Cinfães. The façade features a portal with three archivolts and capitals decorated with zoomorphic motifs and a decorated tympanum. On the south façade, there are two portals with Romanesque motifs. Inside, the highlight is the number of tombs with arches, as well as the decorative motifs on the arches, capitals, girdles, and corbels. Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Natividade de Escamarão

This Romanesque-Gothic temple features carved stonework on the portals, triumphal arch, and the transept's light recess. The side altars of the triumphal arch feature 15th- and 16th-century Mudejar tiles and remains of frescoes. It is a volumetric and stylistic example that may help reconstruct the structure of the Church of São Cristóvão de Nogueira, with which it shares similar decoration at the level of the axial portal. Noteworthy is the large window on the east-facing elevation, with a broken, semi-detached arch and similar decoration to the portico.

Deeply altered in the Modern Age, the Church of São Cristóvão, in the former municipality of Nogueira, is structurally a medieval, late Romanesque building, from which the axial portal and, on the sides, corbels, cornices, and frieze sections survive. Inside, the work of the main altarpiece and collateral altarpieces is notable, although most of this integrated heritage has been profoundly altered by recent interventions.

It consists of three rooms: one displays crafts, another displays the municipality's archaeological collection, as well as some of the most important collections of Cinfães explorer Serpa Pinto, and the third is dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
