This cave was discovered by chance in 1961 during mining operations. Several tools from the Mousterian industry and stone artifacts from the Upper Paleolithic and Neolithic periods were found here. However, its most important find is a Neanderthal tooth, approximately 30,000 years old.

A rugged natural area offering landscapes of great natural beauty. High on the mountain, there is a large stone cross that marks the battle between the French and Anglo-Portuguese armies on August 17, 1808, during the first Napoleonic invasion, marking the beginning of the Peninsular War.

This museum is located in the Gorjão Palace, a former Coimbra manor house dating back to the 17th century. The museum also has a library with specialized works on archaeology, history, ethnography, and art history, and a Historical Archive with documentation on Bombarral's recent history and collections of old newspapers.

On a 35-hectare farm, an oriental garden was born in a centuries-old forest, next to a lake and along a green area with a large expanse of vineyards. Featuring three hundred Buddhist statues, this oriental garden was conceived and designed by Commander José Berardo as a response to the destruction of the Giant Buddhas of Bamyan. Bacalhôa Buddha Eden seeks to be a space of reconciliation, without any religious bias, inviting unity, communication, and meditation as a way to rediscover happiness.

La iglesia fue fundada por la reina Leonor a principios del siglo XVI. Remodelado en el siglo XVIII, el campanario también es de esa época. This farmhouse features a 17th-century tile panel, a small museum, and a wine shop displaying a variety of products from the farm.
