Igreja da Misericórdia de Alandroal

Baroque church from the Josephite period. Notable features include the gilded altarpiece in the chancel and the Baroque-Rococo tile panels depicting the Last Supper and the Washing of the Feet, by Policarpo de Oliveira Bernardes. It underwent extensive remodeling during the reign of King John V.
