Martinhal Beach is located in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park and is known for its excellent windsurfing conditions. After crossing a dune with some vegetation, there is a vast stretch of sand, with a concession area and plenty of space. Walking to the left, with the sea in front, is Rebolinhos Beach. The rocks visible in the sea, 1,000 meters from the sand, are known as Martinhal Island. It is possible to reach it by swimming, but only with advance notice from the lifeguard.

This river beach is one of the excellent recreational and leisure spots in Alcoutim. Located on the Cadavais riverbank, near the mouth of the Guadiana River, it boasts golden sand and is equipped with a wide range of facilities and services, including a parking lot, a bar, a picnic area with wooden tables, showers, a beach volleyball court, and restrooms.
