Created in the 60s, it has about 38 thousand square metres. Totally surrounded by a wall, it is limited by houses, by the river, by the school and by the Park's dependencies. It belongs to the Direcção Regional de Agricultura de Trás-os-Montes (Trás-os-Montes Regional Direction of Agriculture). It is an excellent place to visit with family and friends. There are spaces where one can jog, play, picnic, enjoy the shade of wonderful trees, fish and even dive in the river.

This green area adorned with varied species of trees and bushes shows the ruins of two medieval doors. The beautiful and great panoramic view of the Tejo River stands out. Inside the garden is a small restaurant.
