This lookout offers one of the most beautiful views of the region. You may obtain direct panoramic to the Douro River, framed by green hills.

This Park extends for about 1.5 miles along the route of the rio Fresno. It is a recreation area opened in 2007 that offers hiking trails on the banks and a dock with support equipment. Along the River, you can see windmills, fountains and Mills recovered.

Beyond the space that surrounds the beautiful castle of Pinhel, the Belvedere offers a privileged view of the whole town, the historic centre and the urban area. In 2005, the space received a virtual observation deck able to tell the story live on locations and scenarios where the events took place, combining high-tech history.
