Located next to Poço Corga River Beach, this mill is thought to have over 400 years of history, although the first records referring to its operation as an olive oil mill date back to 1939. Due to EU legislation, it ceased to operate as a mill and is now a museum, which aims to showcase the artisanal olive oil production process.

The Casa do Tempo was created to serve as a space for heritage preservation and a vibrant hub for cultural and educational activities. Therefore, in addition to hosting several temporary exhibitions each month, the Casa do Tempo also houses a permanent exhibition that, through contemplation of news reports from the newspaper "O Castanheirense" since January 1, 1937, and the appreciation of a collection of objects related to the wool industry, allows us to journey through the history of Castanheira de Pêra.

Anjo de Portugal - Monumento de Homenagem às Vítimas da Tragédia de Entre-os-Rios

A monument erected in honor of the victims of the Hintze Ribeiro Bridge collapse tragedy. It is a statue of a golden angel, approximately ten meters tall. Descending some stairs next to the angel, we find a small shrine with the photos and names of the victims of the bridge collapse.
