Baroque and Neoclassical church with a single nave and chancel, with an attached sacristy. Inside, it features a high choir, built-in confessionals, a pulpit on the Gospel side, two side altarpieces and two side altarpieces, in Neoclassical polychrome and gilded woodwork, and a late-Baroque polychrome and gilded woodwork main altarpiece.

Edifício dos Paços do Concelho de Alijó

A Baroque building with two-story facades, composed of two sections, one dating from the 18th century and the other from the 19th century. The main facade is punctuated by bay windows and crowned by a backrest carved with a coat of arms. The side facades and the interior have been renovated.

Casa-Museu Maurício Penha

Igreja e Antigo Hospital da Misericórdia

This eighteenth-century church, with an attached hospital, is in good condition. It features a single nave, sacristy, and chancel. The main altarpiece is neoclassical in style, made of pink and gray Estremoz marble.

Antigo Convento da Ordem de Avis

The church was founded on an uncertain date, but it is known that it was rebuilt in the mid-17th century. Its appearance maintains its medieval design. The church has a simple portico, crowned by a pediment bearing the national coat of arms. The Renaissance-style chancel was built in 1694, with the rest of the church being Baroque. The convent houses the famous silver-inlaid reliquary of Saints Peter and Paul, a work of 15th-century goldsmithing.

The Museum of Ethnography and Archaeology is housed in the Chapter House of the former Convent of São Bento de Avis. The interior houses archaeological, handicraft, and ethnographic pieces collected by municipal employees, Mr. Antônio Bonito, a local artisan, and the local population.
