Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição / Igreja Matriz de Ermida

This Romanesque church was founded in the 12th century. It is also known as the Church of Our Lady of the Conception or the Church of the Acronyms due to its extraordinary carving of signs, or stonemason marks. The granite façade features a pointed arch portal with sculpted capitals. The interior has a single nave covered with a Hispano-Arabic ceiling. It is the only temple of the Premonstratensian (Augustinian) order in Portugal.

A medieval church with a single nave and Gothic inscriptions. The founding of this church is linked to Queen Saint Isabel. The walls of the nave and the triumphal arch are covered in 17th-century tiles, and those of the chancel are checkered. Highlights include the pulpit, dating from 1544, the 16th-century paintings, and the 17th-century altarpiece.

Torre de Dornes

A medieval tower whose construction is controversial: some attribute its construction to Sertorius in the 8th century, others believe it to be the work of the Moors, and still others claim Templar origins. It features a pentagonal plan, with a roof and a dome topped by a cylindrical body.
