Monastery founded in the 12th century by D. Soeiro and his companions, initially obedient to the Rule of S. Bento. Initially it was used as a male monastery of the Order of Cistercians. The favor of the people and the patronage of the kings who, to their protection, made it a Royal Monastery, brought the growth of the house and its assets. Igreja da Misericórdia de Mangualde/ Casa do Despacho

Its construction took place between the years 1721 and 1724, on a project by the architect Gaspar Ferreira. It comprises a nave, a sacristy and a dispatch room. The filling it received for the interior turned it into a fine example of Baroque art from the Johannine period. Highlights include tile panels with Christian symbolism, referring to scenes from the New Testament, scenes from the lives of Mary and Jesus, tiles from Fábrica do Rato in the sacristy and details of the main altarpiece.
Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Castelo

Where the medieval fortification once stood, the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Castelo was installed. The chapel replaced a previous one from the 14th century. With baroque and neoclassical characteristics, this monument attracts attention due to the tower raised above the façade. Its finishes are in stonework, comprising a nave, a sacristy and a meeting room. The interior also shows an elegant chancel, whose neoclassical altarpiece in gilded and white carving rises on high steps. The interior tile panels depict episodes from the life of the Virgin.

17th century palace, built by Miguel Pais Amaral. It features a façade cut by wide pilasters and two rows of windows with lintels decorated with "Rocaille" style motifs. It has an emblazoned door and, above, a balcony with stone balusters that serve as protection for the main floor door. The south façade has a double veranda with round arches and an original staircase. Also noteworthy is the chapel invoking Saint Bernard.

This megalithic monument, recovered at the end of the 1990s, consists of an elongated polygonal chamber, tending to be rectangular, with nine pillars and a medium corridor. It is assumed that it had a first phase of funerary occupation in the transition from the 4th to the 3rd century BC.
