Founded in 1964, this museum is located in the house where Dr. Sousa Martins was born since 1984. A part of it is devoted to the works of this scientist and phisician. The space features four permanent exhibitions: one about the industry and the economic activities, another about theatre, writing, history and music related people, an ethnographic exhibitions and also an exhibition about sports.

Related to the foundation of the Morgadio da Póvoa, in the 14th century. It is composed of a palace, a church, hermitages, gardens and an agricultural area. The museum is located in a public interest construction.

Located in an old 1930s hangar, by the OGMA and the railway station, the Museu do Ar (Air Museum) features planes, equipments, engines, helixes, airplane miniatures, airplane weaponry, historic relics and uniforms.

Museum consisting of collections of archaeology, fine arts (painting, gouache, sculpture, drawing, watercolour and printmaking), tiling, posters, documents, ethnography, industrial heritage, epigraphy, numismatics, photography and textiles.
