Second Order Franciscan Convent - Poor Clares. Rectangular in plan, it comprises a chancel, sacristy and cloister. Its collection is vast and includes interior chapels and altars built by the nuns and mural paintings, among other remains. Today it functions as a foundation and the premises serve as an inn.

Founded in the reign of King Afonso III, more precisely in 1267, it was dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Graça. Its destiny was to be the pantheon of the Dukes of Bragança. The façade of the monastery and the church stands out with its tall bell towers and large windows. The church's nave is severe and almost without decorations, and the side walls of the chancel contain six mausoleums of Dukes of Bragança. 16th century building, profoundly altered in the 18th century. Of the primitive construction, in the Manueline-Mudejar style, only the vaults, the doors of the ground floor dependencies and the cloister are preserved. Inside there are several paintings, with emphasis on the 15th century frescoes representing the capture of Azamor. Pay attention also to the furniture and tapestries.

Frontage divided into three spans, on each of which opens a simple portico with a squared frame carried by a simple pediment with a triangular cornice. Over each portico, there is a large rectangular window with a deep beveled frame. The façade is divided by pilasters and the building is flanked by a solid square tower. It has three naves and five spans of round arcades on Doric columns. Inside the church, the coating with polychrome tiles stands out.

Square-shaped castle surrounded by a moat and two cylindrical turrets. Access is via a classic Roman doorway. It is a rare example in the panorama of Portuguese military architecture, with the medieval fence, towers and doors coexisting with the Renaissance fortification. The Alcáçova dos Duques de Bragança stands out, with rooms with marble columns and ribbed vaults.

Inaugurated in 2005, with the aim of promoting and preserving the local culture, this space includes pieces of sacred art that were part of the Museum of Sacred Art of Gouveia, a small collection of Cardinal Mendes Belo and the stone of the Synagogue of Gouveia, dating from 1496. In the main room there is a small photo library with photographs of Gouveia from the 1930s and 1940s by João Carvalho and César Nogueira.

In addition to housing the work of Abel Manta, it also includes works by Paula Rego, Júlio Resende, Vieira da Silva, Joaquim Rodrigo, Júlio Pomar, Menéz Lagoa, among others. It comprises seven permanent exhibition halls, a temporary exhibition hall, an arts library, an arts workshop and a small shop.
