The Porto Palafita de Carrasqueira is composed of a wide range of boardwalks made of wood that is buried in the mud of the River Sado. These improvised constructions are a little more than fifty years old and are a result of the struggle against the sand invasion of the Sado river.

In addition to a backyard, there is an archaeological collection and, in the agricultural area, a collection of agricultural implements. Clay pieces are also part of this museum's collection.

Arched door broken by a tombstone framed with the cross of Christ and corners. It has three battlements and still has the coving boxes and the lock holes.

Medieval door with a round arch, supported by two projecting towers, with several shields. The lock holes can still be seen. One of the towers is attached to the clock tower, and access to any of the towers is via a stone staircase.
