19th century railroad bridge, built on the Douro River, connecting Vila Nova de Foz Coa to Torre de Moncorvo. Although its construction has started in the late 19th century, was only inaugurated in 1909. Is out of service for more than twenty years.

O Museu do Côa organiza passeios pelo Rio Côa a bordo de uma embarcação electro-solar, construída apenas com materiais sustentáveis. Entre o Cais da Canada do Inferno e o sítio do Fariseu, num percurso de 4 quilómetros, os visitantes podem apreciar a biodiversidade local, numa experiência que é acompanhada por uma gegustação de cinho e frutos secos. O passeio não inclui visita aos núcleos de gravuras rupestres.

A Penascosa encontra-se numa grande praia fluvial na margem direita do rio Côa, no concelho de Vila Nova de Foz Côa. A visita inicia-se no Centro de Recepção na aldeia de Castelo Melhor. Segue-se numa viatura todo-o-terreno, com um guia, por uma estrada de terra por entre os campos plantados com amendoeiras e oliveiras, ao longo de cerca de 6 kms. O percurso escolhido inclui 5 rochas gravadas. O Museu também organiza visitas noturnas, altura em que é possível, através de uma luz artificial, criar as melhores condições para uma adequada fruição da beleza da arte paleolítica do Côa.

This is one of the rock art sites in the Valley of the Coa, forming a rare set of this type of art, essentially composed of stone engravings dated from the Upper Paleolithic. This core consists of two shale rocks. In its vertical panels there are figures representing Zoomorphic motifs etched, identified as cattle and capríneos.

A well preserved rural village, protected by the castle of the nearby hill. One may still view the perimeter of the walls that surrounded the interior yards and the donjon. The ruined walls, currently ruined, are classed as a public interest construction. There is a group of constructions made of narrow schist stones. Nearby, engravings may be seen in caves.

Opened in 1999, this hostel offers good facilities and the possibility to get to know the heritage of this region. The Archaeological Park of the Coa Valley, where it is exposed a set of engravings about 30 thousand years, deserves a visit. This area presents conditions for the practice of adventure sports-related activities. It offers 11 double rooms with toilet, nine double rooms without toilet, seven multiple rooms and an apartment with four beds and kitchenette.
