This large manor has two floors. The upper floor is the noble floor due to the riches of the windows and balconies. On the entrance there is na interrupted fronton with two volutes and a niche with a segmental arch.

This manor of the 1600s went through several changes during the 19th century. A special note to the granite fronton with the arms of the royal house of Portugal.

Saint John's chapel used to stand here but, as the village grew larger, it was moved to the Largo da Carvalha Cimeira. This tower, where the popular parties in August take place, was built as a tribut to the ancient chapel.

This granite portal is compoed of a redctangular "door" and of a cross on the top.

This roman pathway is badly conserved and almost impercetible, albeit signaled by a plaque, since it is almost entirely covered by plants.

These stepping-stones over the Vouga river are used to go from Várzea to Sanguinhedo by foot.

This granite gate, located on a wall, has a tile panel on one of the sides where one can read its name and a reference to Dom Afonso V and to its elevation to Namtional Monument. At the medieval time, when there were seven gates, it was meant to serve as a defense of the city. Currently, there are only two gates left: the Soar or Arco dos Malos Gate and the Cavaleiros Gate.
