Ancient Benedictine monastery, whose present ensemble dates from the XVIII century. The monastery has four cloisters and the most important is decorated with azulejos and a granite fountain at the centre. The church has beautiful golden woodcarving works.

Built in the XVII century, this church guards the most ancient Christian monument in Braga: a stone at the sacristy claimed to be from the VII century, originally from a Visigothic Temple.

The chapel was built between 1756 and 1759. There’s an oratory, at the base of the Santiago Tower, dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Ponte, for saving the city at the 1755’s earthquake.

Mannerist chapel characterized for its architectonical sobriety and adulterated inside. The main altar with the image of Christ and the two canvas with the paintings of saints are worthy of notice.

The church owns a two floors’ cloister with four galleries on each floor. Inside are worthy of notice the 18th century glazed tiles and a magnificent pulpit with dossal from the same century.

Integrated at the Asilo Conde da Agrolongo, dated from the XVII century, this chapel has the best examples of the finest religious architecture in Braga, where the ceilings and the golden woodcarving stand out.

The Spanish-Arabic fresco-paintings from the XV century, as well as an ogive window with beautiful glass works, a valuable sculpture of São Nicolau and the rich tomb of D. Gonçalo Pereira are worth the visit to this chapel.

From the primitive church there are still a part of the cornice and some modillions. The original Romanic temple, suffered profound changes during the XVIII century.

Here are the valorous tombs of the Conde D. Henrique and D. Teresa, among others. Worthy of notice is the remarkable ceiling ribs execution, in stone vault.

This ring-shaped chapel has an image of Nossa Senhora da Guadalupe at the front.
