Infante Dom Pedro Park, or City Park, was established in 1862 on land previously owned by the Convent of Santo Antônio. The river that ran through it was used to create a landscape of lakes and fountains dotting the surrounding greenery. Highlights of this garden include Avenida das Tílias, the iron bandstand, and romantic corners nestled among bridges and trees.

This green spot by the Ria is an ideal place for leisure and relaxing activities. It is a quarter’s garden, small and quiet, with a typical atmosphere, sided by Art Nouveau buildings and the Ria’s CanalCentral.

The Santo António Park was created in the middle of the 80ies, as result of the enlargement of the Infante Dom Pedro Park. Here you have some playing fields and a radical sports park.

This garden is near the Santa Joana parochial Church. The trees, bushes, benches and play ground spots make it the ideal place to family walks.
