The viewpoint is located in the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Penha, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the village of Alva and the Serra de Montemuro.

A lookout point perched on a cliff, with iron-framed stairs offering magnificent views of the Montemuro Mountains, São Macário Mountains, and Arada Mountains. A notable tile panel reads: "It's worth going to Pena, coming to Penedo da Saudade, taking paper and a pen and saying goodbye to the city."

A rather wide space, with tall trees, flowerbeds and wood benches. In the centre there is a small lake, a landmark of the discoveries and a vapour machine.
