A vast stretch of white sand, with good waves for surfing and clear water. There are several traditional restaurants serving a variety of fish and seafood dishes.

Medão Beach, better known as Supertubos Beach due to its fast, tubular waves, is internationally renowned for attracting surfers, bodyboarders, and windsurfers year-round, hosting international events related to these sports. Located at the southern entrance to Peniche, it is surrounded by dunes and boasts a vast stretch of sand.

Located near the fishing port, Ribeira Marina has capacity for 140 boats, including 20 for passing vessels. Next door is the boarding pier for the Berlengas Islands, located about 10 miles offshore. There's parking and a nearby restaurant where you can sample local cuisine.

A bay north of the narrow path that leads to the small peninsula, Baleal is a treasure for diving and extreme sports enthusiasts. It has a small island populated by fishermen and is very touristy. There is no shortage of high-quality restaurants serving traditional dishes. Nightlife is a must.

A beach with a small brook. Fit for surfing, namely when the "nortada" (northwinds) blow strong. It has several restaurants and bars that serve typical dishes. It has lively nights and plenty of shops.

A small rocky beach, attended mostly by fishermen and by families who enjoy the calm sea. It is also fit for diving, even though there is no vigilance.

The Frades Beach may be viewed from the top of the rocky shoreline. The stretch of sand rewards the visitors after a strenuous descent.

A beach on the western extremity o the Baleal bay. It is located very near Peninche and it is hence quite attended.

A sand shell, surrounded by cliffs, a bit rocky. Attended by tourists. It has a much crowded beach bar.

A beach surrounded by exciting dunes, with a good stretch of sand and a small bay. It is attended by young surfers and families.
