A paradisiacal place, located in a cove at the bottom of the famous Cabo Girão cliff. Until 1998, access was only possible by boat, but now there's a modern glass elevator. There's a small resort here, including a restaurant, good beach and fishing facilities, and a few guest houses.

As incríveis vistas sobre a encosta da enorme falésia até à Fajã dos Padres marcam o percurso deste Teleférico da Fajã dos Padres. Ao longo de 4 minutos e 250 metros, proporciona uma viagem sobre a costa sul da Ilha da Madeira e a pequena baía da Fajã, local onde existem inúmeras plantações vitícolas. O transporte garante o acesso à zona balnear e ao pequeno restaurante ali existente.

Rope-way teleferic opened in 2003, allowing the access to the fajãs (flat forelands that formed by lava flowing into the ocean and landslides and collapsing cliffs) at the Cabo Girão. It offers a lovely panoramic view.

Footway with a bout 12 km, stretching from the Boca da Corrida until the Curral das Freiras. It was a former royal way and a trading track and there’s even a record of a grocery along the way.
